How To Lead A Happy Life

It is not my job to tell you how
Along the way, you will begin to understand
To experience, to feel
To clasp it with open hands

Feel deep into your heart
Feel light, feel peace, just allow
Be amongst it, build community
Feel the connection that is all around

Happiness is not a problem to be solved
Or a clue waiting to be discovered
For it’s often in the smallest things
That we just have to uncover

You could try swimming in the ocean
Or walking amongst the trees
For it is all around you
Stop searching and just be

Move the corners of your lips
Release the tension from your brow
Forget the past, don’t worry what’s coming
Just live in the very now
