The Moon Cycle of 2022
Make sure to look to the sky tonight, Easter Sunday, as there will be a beautiful full moon out on show.
Other Full Moon’s mostly taking place mid-month are;
17 April, 16 May, 14 June, 14 July, 12 August, 10 September, 10 October, 8 November and 8 December.
Two of our full moons this year are Super Full Moons. A Super Full Moon is when the moon is the closest to Earth and looks about 16% brighter than a usual Full Moon. This year keep an eye out in Jun and July. They are just incredible to see.
Full Moons are a great time to create a vision board, imagine your goals coming true, and get organised. If you are a crystal owner, the night of the Full Moon is an excellent time to place your crystals outside on a white cloth for charging and cleansing. A full moon is also a great time to treat yourself to some self-care of a salt bath, a massage, or to get a haircut.
On 8 November, we will witness a total lunar eclipse, where we will see a blood moon at night from 7:46 to 9:11pm because of the reddish tinge the full moon takes on when fully eclipsed. A sight to see.
No Blue Moons this year, however, we will have a Black Moon in late May, as it is the second new moon in the month.
You will notice New Moons in Australia on 1 May, 30 May, 29 June, 29 July, 27 August, 26 September, 25 October, 24 November, and 23 December.
A Micro New Moon will take place in July and there will be a Super New Moon at the end of the year in December.
New Moons are a great time to complete any projects, set your intentions, exfoliate and detox. Cleanse your space with sage, make a list of all things you are grateful for and clear anything that is no longer serving you.
Are you someone that feels the effects of full moons? We would love it if you joined the conversation and left a comment below.
