March 2020 In Hindsight
March is when my whole new normal started. Now that I am back working full time after a year off, and with life slowly closing in due to the Coronavirus, things are very different for me. I have enjoyed being back at school which did surprise me, though I realise I am very fortunate to be working at a lovely school. With the majority of students at home, I have been allocated a class of the students that are still attending school. They say we are ‘ón the front line’. Everyone has taken to online learning and it has been a fun experiment.
I am still not giving in to stress or pressure that others are feeling due to the virus. I choose to not read, listen or watch the news and continue to live in my sheltered bubble with my boyfriend.
Getting away on a domestic cruise at the beginning of the month with my sisters family was lots of fun. My first major cruise and I figured out five days is more than long enough to be stuck on a boat.
It has felt like the month has been an extra-long one and pumped for holidays in two weeks. So this is what my month of March looked like…
