Online Learning Games

I like learning to be fun for my students and one way I do that is to disguise learning using online learning games such as quizzes. The room is loud, there is laughter, there is a possibility for disappointment, students may be paired up, teamed up or working individually and it’s just a bit different to what learning usually looks like in a typical classroom.

Some examples of great sites for online quizzes include;

  • Kahoot - play games either individually or as a team. Make learning awesome. Be prepared for lots of noise. Great to play at the end of learning. Create. host, share or play.

  • Quizlet - learning tools and flashcards. Helps teachers engage students of all levels through curriculum-based materials, interactive study methods and games.

  • Typeform - Quiz Maker - create free online quizzes for your students. It’s easy to use, fun and fully customisable. Create a quiz that is sure to engage your students.

  • Class Marker - promotes themselves as the best quiz maker for education. Easy-to-use, customizable online testing solution for business, training & educational assessment with Tests & Quizzes graded instantly saving you hours of paperwork!

  • Google Forms - create your own google forms and collect and organise information. easy to analyse the data received.
